WHITEWATER KAYAK INSTRUCTION
Paddling a kayak down a moving river is just way to much fun. It’s not something you want to do without some professional training. There are a lot of great whitewater schools out there and we’re just one. For many people we’re the right choice, for others maybe not. The best way to know is to call us so we can talk about your goals. There are two big advantages to our classes. First we’re in Eastern Massachusetts so there’s no need for a major expedition to get to you class. Our classes start on a local pond (or pool) and then we’ll travel to the best river option possible. That flexibility gives you the best chance to get the best conditions for the skills you need to work on. Lastly, our instructors are adults who’s responsibility is to teach you proper techniques at a pace that works for you. Our instructors aren’t showing off the coolest tricks they can do. You’re paying your hard earned money for our time so we’ll work even harder too earn it. You may notice our classes are a little longer than other schools. The reason is simple… we want to make sure we have the time to teach you the skills you need at a pace you are comfortable with.
The Level 2 classes on this page are great for Recreational or Coastal Kayakers who are looking for some experience on moving water to sharpen their skills.
Please look for class dates on our “Find a Class/Trip” page. We’ll also set up a class for any group of four or more. Just contact us to begin that process. We specialize in kid’s programs. Please visit our “Youth Kayaking” page for those description. As always…. give us a call if you have any questions at all!
